Did you know that Cary has been recognized as one of the first fourteen Bicycle Friendly Communities by the League of American Bicyclists? And, what does that actually mean?
Communities across the US are judged on the five Es which are: Engineering, Education, Encouragement, Enforcement, and Evaluation & Planning. A community must demonstrate achievements in each of the five categories in order to be considered for an award.
The Town of Cary, with their comprehensive transportation plan, has done an excellent job of planning the Cary Greenways, Trails, and Bike Lanes throughout the town for recreation and enjoyment.
